By the end of 2008, the number of medical device enterprises registered in WGQ FTZ has reached 209. the import volume of them in 2008 has reached 500 million USD, amounting to 51.41% of the total import volume in Shanghai, increased by 27.48%than that of last year . The number of medicine enterprises registered in WGQ FTZ is 141. the import volume of them in 2008 has reached 1.2 billion USD, amounting to 65.16%of the total import volume in this area of Shanghai , increased by 57.54%than that of last year .
